If you have been to Beer’s Automotive, you most likely have spoken personally with our Service Manager, Kyle Hodge and have experienced his energetic personality. Kyle keeps things moving! We feel very thankful and blessed to have him at Beers!
Kyle has always loved cars and anything with an engine. He states, “I always knew I would work on vehicles as a career.” In high school, he did bodywork part-time. After school, he realized he didn’t enjoy engine work as much so he changed his paths and has “never regretted it.”
His favorite aspect as the Service Manager is all the knowledge gleaned learning what makes vehicles tick. In addition, experiencing all the cool vehicles he has had the pleasure of working on is a plus. Kyle believes working on vehicles is his calling. At Beer’s, he also enjoys working directly with customers too.
Spending time with his wife, Amanda, is what Kyle enjoys most outside of work. He also spends time working around his house, on his personal vehicles and attending racing events. Drag racing events are his favorites.
Kyle and his wife have a dog-son named Georgie and a new addition to the family, Tipp-a cat.
Things that make Kyle smile the most are cars, race cars, and turbos. Not to forget his wife and his customers at Beers. 😊
When asked about his hero, he stated his employers. (And no, we did not ask him to say that! 😉) He commented, “They brought me in, gave me all the tools to thrive and better myself. Working for them has been a blessing.” The blessing goes both ways!
Brad is our second ASE Technician. Brad has been working for Beer’s for over 2 years, which is his first “official” job in the automotive industry. However, he has been wrenching with his father ever since he could turn a wrench! He is currently working steadily towards becoming an ASE Master Technician.
Brad’s favorite part of his job is being able to work on and learn so much about many different cars and trucks. “I also enjoy everybody I work with. Everybody has always been nice and welcoming, which makes it nice and easy to come to work... it is one of the cleanest shops in town. I couldn't ask for a better job.” We are blessed to have Brad at Beer’s and appreciate his willingness and eagerness to get the job done right.
Away from work Brad enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to fairs to enjoy the food and events, and of course working on his own cars! Brad had the opportunity to get behind the wheel and race a Federated Stock car around the track. There are a few pictures posted on Beer’s FB page to check out. If you ever have a chance, ask him about his experience.
Brad appreciates that both his parents have always worked hard to get him through life. He has a girlfriend, Ashley, whom he “loves to death.” He also has a couple cats.
Brad has two heroes. One is his old school teacher, Ron Saunders. Ron has done many amazing things in his life and Brad stated he, “will always look up to him.” Brad’s boss is his second hero. Growing up, Brad always dreamed of owning his own reputable shop one day.
What makes Brad laugh and smile the most is his family. When a customer gets his vehicle back from Brad and they are happy, it makes him happy too.
Jason started working in the automotive industry in 2011. He is currently a master technician here at Beer’s Automotive with a specialty in Kia. Jason’s favorite aspect working at Beer’s is the challenge each day and learning new things.
Away from work, Jason’s hobbies are “riding my motorcycle with my wife, working on home projects as well as vehicle projects. Learning new skills is one of my favorite things to do. Spending time with family is most important!”
When asked about his family, Jason stated, “I’m married to my beautiful wife Laura, of just over a year. We have 4 dogs, the newest edition being our Great Dane, Boss.” Their other canine family members are Ellie, Bentley, and Cali. To complete their “mini zoo” is a feline named Jasper.
When asked about his hero, Jason replied, “My parents are my hero’s, going from tough times to owning their own business. They’ve done great for themselves.”
Jason feels he is lucky to be surrounded by great people. His wife, family and friends are the people who make him smile the most.

Jeff states his favorite aspects of his job are, “I enjoy helping a customer stay safe on the road and the thrill of figuring things out that are difficult.”
Away from work, Jeff enjoys hunting and fishing. He is also a Scout Master in Republic, OH where his pack enjoys camping and hiking.
Jeff is married to his wife, Jess, and they have one son, Tony. They also have a dog, Daisy. These are the individuals that make Jeff laugh and smile the most.

Nick is Beer’s Automotive’s Tire Specialist and Service Technician.
Nick started in the automotive industry as a little boy helping his dad, but then lost interest until he became older and desired to build cars with performance modifications. Nick’s favorite aspect of working at Beer’s is, “learning all I can abut the mechanics of a vehicle from everyone I work with.”
Nick enjoys family time, going on little road trips, playing soccer and simply being outdoors. Erica is Nick’s wife, and they have a son, Jackson. In addition, they have two cats, Meeps and Tazmanion~yes, like the cartoon. 😊
When it comes to his hero, Nick stated, “My wife is my hero. Erica has done so much for me to help me get to where I am today in life and she always puts others before herself.”
The things that make Nick smile the most are, “just having friends and family together.”
